Optional long introduction (or afterword) explaining about my witty fishy tale:Each compiled part of my witty fishy tale connects to the next in a sequence, like a chain of associated events, and/or word themes. Many of the parts are in (or close to) one of their original formulations, usually originating from the public domain on the internet, or general knowledge. I have also recombined some of the "old classics", to create my own versions. It may be a tiny tweak, or a complete overhaul, or the merger of different puns etc. To fully understand some of the punchlines and twists in the tale, it may help if you know the original versions, or if you are an aquarist/biologist etc. Many self-made jokes and a few self-made puns have been added. The answers may be interesting to remember, but an extreme ease, and/or a challenging struggle to understand a pun, can also be fun. There are many words, used as links, in my witty fishy tale.
I have also linked to a few other webpages on the internet, from my witty fishy tale. The reason, for some of the words being equipped with links, are primarily to simplify, for you, to make a quick examination of the words, and/or learn information, and/or multiple meanings. If you are already confident in your skills and knowledge, or perhaps if you have already visited the recommended music videos before, then you can naturally skip these links, to get a faster flowing experience of my witty fishy tale. However, not everything is what is seems. There can be a few differences between sources and some links might be there to explain a connection in the tale. Usually, it is the word/phrase/name that is explained, but it can also be a joke, follow-up, or setup. Information on webpages can also change over time, with new research, and/or updates.

They might share some commonality, but my own perception is that the archived definition of witty on Wikipedia is way out of line,

Wikipedia often include pictures, that take over some of the role of explaining, instead of only using words. Wikipedia also often have alternate versions of their pages available in other languages, if you prefer that, or need it for a translation. There can also be similar related words, like wit in this case. Usually, wit does not have the same meaning as witty, but it is still related, and sometimes interchangeable, depending on how it is used. It depends on in what form the word is used and also if it is slang, or not. This further adds to the confusion. Sometimes, I may use a closely related link, even if it is not an exact match with my perception of a word, if I have trouble finding a page with what I want to express. Perhaps in the future, pages that I have linked to may get updated, or I might find better sources and change links. Your perception, of what a specific word means, can change drastically depending on your general knowledge.
A single source is just a start. It is often good to do further research if you are unfamiliar with a word.
In the rest of my witty fishy tale, I will not link to any more webpages stored on I have also included links to some of my favorite songs and aquatic channels on YouTube. These are not only for the wordplay. They are also there to help you trigger thoughts and emotions. It can be the attitude, actions, music tempo, lyrics, video footage, related events, movies, album covers, and/or the artists/creators/organizations etc. Not everything is intended! You may find, or imagine, some connections, that I may not know about, or maybe our life experiences differ. We might not react in the same way. Some lyrics can be interpreted in more than one way. I don't know everything. However, I have done a few compromises. For example, some clips in video footage, or a few lines in the lyrics, or a small part of the music etc. Everything may not be fully to my liking, but that is not the point. I can still enjoy a song, or fancy a video, even if it includes what I may consider to be "flaws", as long as it is within my tolerances. If there are options, on how to interpret a phrase in the lyrics, and you like some ways, but not others, try to concentrate on the ones you like. If there is no such option (that you can think of), and/or if there is still some detail you don't like, then please humor me and try to imagine what you would have changed, if you were in charge of a remake. Then try to go with your prefered version in your mind. That should help you feel better about it? Perhaps there are other versions available, with changed lyrics, or instrumental/humming versions without lyrics? If it is still not good, just skip it, move on and choose another song! An individual song does not fit every occasion, or every mood.
Choose songs that help you enhance the type of emotions you want to temporarily experience at each specific time.
However, if you have a craving for pure
lamentations, or songs with sarcastic lyrics,
make sure not to listen to them too often, since that may over time eventually brainwash you into only feeling worse.
Try to add more upbeat musical tunes in general.
Upbeat music can work kind of like a drug free "antidepressant", and/or "stimulant".

I've made effort to be considerate when selecting jokes and recommendations for songs etc. I've tried to avoid profanity and limit overly sensitive topics. I've also tried to avoid demotivational topics, unless a spin can be put on it, with a motivational, or educational, follow-up in some way. It can sometimes be good to put things in perspective, to reset or scramble your thinking. Maybe you are making a long pike out of a single scale? Perhaps there is something, or someone, from your past that you forgot about for a long time (or something, or someone new) that can help rekindle your motivation?

Quotes and proverbs can originate from larger texts and be affected by the original source or later usage, especially by celebrities, politicians and authors. The meaning can often change over time, especially when quotes and phrases are translated, shortened, lengthened, twisted, or used in movies, TV series etc. Some become catchphrases, slogans and so on. A phrase, or a word, might seem neutral, out of context, if it is the first time you hear it, but during an investigation some negative, and/or positive, twists can happen. When you hear such words or phrases, even out of context, there is a chance you still imagine the accent of the actors, singers, or the context, that you remember them from. Many common words and phrases may sometimes be used as euphemisms for other words (or concepts) and may be connected to different topics, perhaps regarding faith, politics, history, vulgarity etc. Should we use words and phrases that have potential duplicitous meanings? Well, if you use them and don't want to be misunderstood, it helps if you provide sufficient context, but sometimes people only see and hear what they subconsciously, or consciously, want/expect to see and hear. It may be inevitable to be misunderstood, if the other person's mind is not open to your view and interpretation. Some people seem to interpret almost everything in a negative way. I think those people could benefit from actively trying to change their mindset, to consciously strive to be more open to positive thinking. If something seems negative at first glance, do not forget to check if there is also some options/ways to spin it in a positive/funny direction. People may not know of less famous phrases, or phrases that originate from a genre that they usually have no special connection to. I don't think helpful quotes and proverbs should be neglected, just because of their origin or history, but it can unfortunately make them controversial. A word or a phrase can easily become controversial if something demotivational has happened or suddenly happens to whatever person, people, organization or other context you associate a specific word or a specific phrase with. The people using motivational phrases and motivational music are often the ones who realize that they themselves (and/or the people around them) struggle and are in need of more motivational/positive thinking. Motivational phrases and motivational music might be an important aid to inspire/stimulate
hope,
happiness,
optimism, and/or boost
Motivational phrases and motivational music can act as two of several vital puzzle pieces, in an elaborate treatment/training process to improve (and/or maintain/prolong/support) mental (psychological) and physical health (and/or performance). Alone, the use of a single motivational phrase (or a motivational song) may perhaps only be enough to minutely slow down (and/or delay/postpone) an ongoing severe (maybe critical) negative trend. However, it may still be useful and beneficial, especially if it can be combined with other additional measures and used with appropriate timing. Then, perhaps the situation can be diverted, or turned around, into a positive trend, or atleast make the situation more bearable?
People struggle with motivation sometimes. Sometimes those sometimes are longer than others. I believe that some of the famous content I have chosen to put in my witty fishy tale may have helped many people to hold on for a bit longer. Sometimes this support is enough to reverse and improve upon the situation during difficult times and then perhaps make a comeback, maybe even better than before. If nessecary, it may also help in opening up a new perspective on the whole situation. Maybe it can act as a key to open previously closed doors. Perhaps encurage someone to lay in a new more hopeful course, if they realize that they are currently heading in the wrong direction. The effect from a single phrase is not boundless and can get overwhelmed, especially if you constantly get flooded by demotivational phrases in our society. I believe it is a good idea to keep on learning more and more motivational phrases, as a defense and counter, but also as true inspiration. Embrace phrases that motivate you in the most positive ways and make sure to nurture them! We may have local differences of opinion, regarding the meaning of specific proverbs and idioms, in different parts of the world. It is often influenced by people close to us. (Possibly a parent, sibling, relative, friend, teacher, boss, rival, enemy, coworker, classmates, a significant other, or a local politician etc.) They can have a huge impact on our opinions about a phrase. If you like a person, chances are higher that you will like the phrases they like to say, and/or the other way around. Perhaps someone
