Most of these links go to tutorials on how to photograph various items, and/or how to use flash/flashes (one, or more, speedlights, and/or studio strobes), and/or various continuous lights (flood/modeling/spot/key/fill/ring/panel/candle/sun light), together with reflectors, softboxes, bouncers, umbrellas, diffusors, light cones, gels etc.

These tutorials should be especially helpful for creating online auction photos, forensic photos, product photos, still life, jewelry photos, and/or food photos, but may also be releated to other types of photography that often utilize flash/flashes, such as portrait/model/pet photography etc. The subjects that are being photographed may differ, but the principles of how to photograph them may still share some similarities.

There are tips and tricks about the use of angles, flash lighting set-ups, camera/flash settings and various gadgets, props, multi tack (adhesive reusable mounting putty, also known as sticky putty), backdrops, carboards, clamps, table surfaces, tents and various equipment.

Get detailed advice on how to photograph items that have reflective/glossy surfaces, and/or are made of transparent/translucent materials, including engraved glass.
