I was born in 1978 and have been keeping tropical freshwater aquariums ever since 1984 and tropical marine aquariums ever since 2000.

In my hobbyroom I have seven tropical freshwater aquariums (720L, 600L, 450L, 310L, 3x75L) and four tropical saltwater aquariums (375L, 125L, 2x75L). The exact number of aquariums varies from time to time as I rearrange aquariums or exhange them (usually in favour of better and/or bigger ones.) The idea is to make the aquariums easier to maintain and make the room interior more to my liking and also make it easier to photograph.

I plan to build several more aquariums ranging from 600 to 1450L. I already have the glass needed, but I have to remove old silicone from the glass before I can begin the difficult work of building the aquariums. I also have to be very careful where I decide to place them, as they are not easily moved afterwards.
